Option 1
Bush and Beach

Explore and go in Zambia, stop and relax in Malawi.

Day 1 – Meet and greet at Lusaka International Airport. Travel by road (approx. 3.5 hours) or light aircraft into Kafue National Park. Overnight Ila Safari Lodge, the premier eco lodge in Kafue National Park.

Days 2 - 4 – Take part in game drives, boat cruises, walking safaris, fishing, cultural excursions or a back of house tour to showcase our eco-friendly operation. All activities are led by our expert guides. Overnight at Ila Safari Lodge.

Day 4 - Fly from Kafue to Lusaka and connect to Mfuwe. Here you will be collected and transferred by road (approx. 2 hours) to Tafika, a charming, rustic bush camp on the banks of the Luangwa River. Overnight Tafika.

Days 5 – 6 - Explore South Luangwa on foot, by vehicle or even by mountain bike. This park is where walking safaris were born so make sure you do at least one. Overnight Tafika.

Day 7 – Travel back to Mfuwe by road and then fly on to Lilongwe (Malawi). Here connect onto a light aircraft to Likoma Island. On arrival transfer 15 minutes by road to Kaya Mawa. Overnight Kaya Mawa.

Days 8 – 10 – Do as much or as little as you like at Kaya Mawa. Dive, snorkel, kite surf, sail, kayak, waterski, wakeboard, kneeboard or fish. Explore the island on foot, by mountain or quad bike or see a local football match. Or just lie on the sandy beach with a good book and take the occasional dip in the lake! Overnight Kaya Mawa.

Day 11 – Fly by light aircraft from Likoma Island back to Lilongwe for international departure or onward travel.

Option 2
Bush, Beach and Culture

Explore the Zambian Bush before visiting Zanzibar's beaches and capital Stone Town.

Day 1 – Meet and greet at Lusaka International Airport. Travel by road (approx. 3.5 hours) or light aircraft into Kafue National Park. Overnight Ila Safari Lodge, the premier eco lodge in Kafue National Park.

Day 5 - Fly from Kafue to Lusaka and connect on to Zanzibar. Road transfer to Swahili House in Stone Town. This boutique hotel tucked away in the winding backstreets with it's lovely roof terrace is a great place from where to explore Stone Town. Overnight Swahili House.

Day 6 – Spend today in Zanzibar's capital Stone Town exploring it winding alleys and colourful markets. The fish and meat market is quite an experience but be sure to get there early. Overnight Swahili House.

Day 7 – Transfer by road 7 kms from Stone Town to Mbweni ruins to board a short boat transfer to Chumbe Island eco lodge.

Days 8 –10 – Snorkel in the pristine Chumbe Reef Sanctuary, wander the island, visit the lighthouse or relax on the beach with a good book.

Day 11 – Transfer back to Zanzibar main island by boat and on to the airport for departure.

Option 3
Bush, Culture then Flop and Drop

Day 5 – Fly from Kafue to Lusaka and connect on to Zanzibar. Road transfer to Jafferji House in Stone Town. This luxury boutique hotel is the former home of locally renowned photographer Javed Jafferji and has retained it's Arab charm. Overnight Jafferji House.

Day 6 – Spend today in Zanzibar's capital Stone Town exploring it winding alleys and colourful markets. The fish and meat market is quite an experience but be sure to get there early.

Day 7 – Transfer by road to the north of the island (approx. 1 hour) to the Z Hotel. This bustling hotel is set on one of Nungwi's best beaches and has a contemporary feel. Overnight Z Hotel.

Days 8 – 10 - Relax by the pool or on the beach, treat yourself to some pampering at the mini spa, dive the coral reefs offshore or take a relaxing sunset dhow cruise.

Day 11 - Transfer by road back to the airport for departure.
