Green Safaris' newest intimate bush camp, opening soon, in the heart of the magical Busanga Flood Plains in the North of the Kafue National Park (Zambia). We welcome you to stay in one of our four truly amazing Birds-Nests which completely blend in with nature.
Chisa Busanga Camp is open yearly from June-November.
The Busanga Flood Plains, situated in the northern part of the Kafue National Park in Zambia, is one of the most unique wilderness areas Africa has to offer.
The name derives from its remarkable architecture, as the 4 guest-units have been built as tree-houses, in the shape of birds-nests, to perfectly blend-in with nature (Chisa means birds nest in the local language), overlooking the plains.
Each nest offers complete privacy and a birds-eye view on the plains, both from the inside as from your provide observation deck. All nests have in/outside shower.
The Boma overlooks the plains and has a plunge pool to cool down and relax, during the hottest months.
At Busanga we offer game-drives and walking safaris. Just like at Ila Safari Lodge, the camp features an electric game-drive vehicle, to enable silent safaris, experience even more game and enjoy the sounds of the bush, without the constant rumble of a diesel-engine.
