Accommodation at Sausage Tree Camp comes in the form of seven spacious luxury suites and one family house. Each suite is generously spaced along the Zambezi River banks, creating room for privacy and for the elephants that often amble between the rooms.
Sausage Tree Camp was founded in 1996 and most recently rebuilt in its entirety in 2018. The camp subtly balances a traditional safari style with ultra-modern luxury. The rooms are custom safari tents with massive gauze windows and sliding doors. Shaded by mature Sausage and Mahogany trees, each space is a cool, private sanctuary to return to for an afternoon’s siesta or a good night’s rest.
