Kaya Mawa is an all year destination but Mkulumadzi is a seasonal lodge which closes for 2 months from mid January to mid March each year. The best time to visit Mkulumadzi is during the dry season, from May to October, when wildlife is easier to spot as animals congregate around water sources. This period also offers pleasant weather for outdoor activities.
